- Both miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies result in loss of a pregnancy and it is normal to go through a process of grieving. Everybody grieves in different ways. Please don’t try to ignore the emotional side of this loss.
- An ectopic pregnancy is any pregnancy not located in the uterus. Mostly commonly ectopic pregnancies are located in a fallopian tube. An ectopic pregnancy needs to be treated as soon as possible either medically or surgically. If you have a history of ectopic pregnancy or moderate to significant pain in early pregnancy, please call the office for early evaluation.
- A miscarriage is also known as a spontaneous abortion. Miscarriages can be treated medically or surgically or can be allowed to pass on their own. Please discuss your options with your physician at My ObGyn Specialists.
